Explosive Bokko dance (BY: KAREL VAN LAERE & VANJA RUKAVINA)
and a tsunami of video animation (BY: PETER VAN TIL & MUSTAYAKI)
In every human lies a desire for the intangible, the media usefully responds to this desire. But where commerce once more beautifully mirrored the reality, it now seems that the reality is often determined by the media. With amazement we look at this development in Asia. Or will we also dress up like our favorite cartoon in a few years?
BOKKO is an energetic dance performance that blurs the boundaries between virtuality and reality.

The show is a dance-performance about the influence of the Asian media on the reality. Fast, flashy, energetic and inspired by the South-korean dance rage that took a great flight on Youtube.

Guilherme Miotto and Hendrik Simon Bakker started researching Myth Again in 2012. Myth Again is a series of inter/trans disciplinary performances created and performed by Miotto and Bakker. For this edition of 'Myth Again' Miotto and Bakker invites artist Peter van Till to create the visuals of the performance. They explore in Myth Again interactions between: sound and movement - word and gestures - seriousness and humour. For more info check BODIES ANONYMOUS.
TILL I AM THERE is a small video-installation by Peter van Til. In this video-installation Peter van Til projects a historical overview of the Papacy on his body. The artist Peter van Til, named after the first pope Simon Petrus, believes in a connection between himself and the Holy leaders of the Catholic church. During this 24 u. residence at the Jonge Harten Theater-festival, Peter is making art, based on the quest to the deeper meaning of his name. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia In Jewish folklore, a golem (// goh-ləm; Hebrew: גולם) is an animated anthropomorphic being, created entirely from inanimate matter. The word was used to mean an amorphous, unformed material in Psalms and medieval writing. The most famous golem narrative involves Judah Loew ben Bezalel, the late-16th-century rabbi of Prague. There are many tales differing on how the Golem was brought to life and afterwards controlled.
